Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding – Course Information
This Certificated Course is targeted at people who work with vulnerable adults. The training covers the knowledge required to identify what constitutes abuse and neglect and what makes adults vulnerable. It also gives and understanding of the relevant legislation including a definition of whistle-blowing and disclosure. An understanding of the different types of of abuse are outlined and at the end of the course the delegate will know how to help prevent abuse and neglect as well as record issues that may be witnessed or disclosed.
Our training (through Protrainings) meets the high standards expected by Skills for Care. The content of this course meets Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and CPD (evidenced) paperwork is available.
